I'm sure this is down to me doing things wrongly so some advice on correct procedure is needed.
For my old phone (HTC One S) I could create mp3 folders of music albums (converted from flac rips), download a cover picture (of dims 300 x 300 or less), save it as either "folder.jpg" or "cover.jpg" directly to the album. All done on the PC first and simply copied over to phone. All was well!
On the S7E none of the artwork (except one entire folder that was downloaded) shows no matter which music player I use. I'm guessing there is a tagging procedure I should now use that the old phone was happy without.
