So yesterday, I managed to softbrick my phone while trying to upgrade to Marshmallow. It unplugged, I panicked and force shut it off, and then, wouldn't boot, dm verity error. I thought I was screwed.
I thought this wouldn't work, but I tried going back to OJ7 using the Odin file here in General. And somehow...it worked??
Everything in the About device section read OJ7, it read that it was on OJ7 in recovery mode, and KNOX wasn't tripped when I went into download mode.
Can someone tell me if I found the secret downgrade method by merely being an idiot and softbricking my phone by total accident? This is just really strange...
